 Accompanied by their blustering bodyguard Alex Armstrong, our heroes seek out a childhood friend: Winry Rockbell, mechanic extraordinaire, who can fix their battered "automail" bodyparts. A little glue and spackle, and they're ready to continue their quest for the Philosopher's Stone, both in the dusty stacks of the central library, and in the city's heavily-guarded alchemical labs.
Before they find the stone's secret, they must face Number 48 and Number 66, souls sealed in undying metal and given a license to kill. But immortality is one of the least of an alchemist's powers... and a metal body is no obstacle to someone who controls the building blocks of matter itself!
