Rating: Pretty good!
No textless OP or ED
I bought it thinking it did...but no. I like the show to death, but i really wanted the textless credits.

All the ads for this show speak nothing but the truth. She does indeed kick a lot of alien ass. The plot mostly surrounds her tracking of a stolen weapon with the power to destroy an entire population of a planet. It begins with her tracking the criminal that stole the weapon but during her pursuit of the criminal she accidentally kills a teen boy. To save his life she merges his consciousness with her own while his body is being repaired. As the story goes on the story develops a lot more and it will be an adventure you will not forget. The music, animation and story are all top notch.

Not What You Think
From the title and box notes, you might think this is a light bit of fluff, but that is not the case. Both major story arcs are excellent high drama. I think I liked the 2nd arc a bit better, since it showed more of Birdy Cephon Altera's backstory and childhood, but the 1st arc is also full of action, suspense and surprising tenderness. Birdy may be enhanced with special power and a first rate investigator, but she's also a really good person. The humor is limited, since this is mostly an action drama, and the tone of the entire series is serious, but there is much to enjoy here. The second arc has heartache and tragedy and at least one shockingly cruel scene, so be prepared. This series is well worth your time and money - a very rewarding watch.
