Rurouni Kenshin DVD 7 (Hyb): Shadow of the Wolf (Eps 28-31)
Jarrette Gunn - Aug 6 2001 JarretteG@excite.com Rating: Wonderful! A wonderful introduction into the Kyoto story arc Rurouni Kenshin so far has been really good, but this is by far the best volume. Each of the four shows kept me interested. Saitoh is by far Kenshin's best nemesis and for the first time(and I'm sure not the last), Kenshin was unable to strike down his enemy quickly. This volume also starts the Kyoto storyline and I'm sure will keep me and everyone who likes this series interested.I happen to own the DVD version and I must say the new music and interface of the menus is excellent. The animation is fluid in the shows and the music really sets the tone for whats going on in the fight scenes and the talking scenes as well as for what is to come in this saga. Great beginning to what I believe is going to be a great series. Kenshin Himura - Jun 22 2002 wingzero1234@hotmail Rating: Wonderful! Amazing Rurouni kenshin keeps on getting better! great series u must buy this Saitou Hajime - Sep 23 2002 saitouhajime@kamiyodojo.com Rating: Wonderful! Wow! This is one of RK's best fighting scenes. I mean, hello? It's me you're talking about. I'm one of Kenshin's lethal nemesis (though that kid Enishi has got to be Kenshin's most lethal enemy..not even that punk Sojirou is hardly a match against Enishi) Anyway, this is the first time Kenshin released his true nature(...ahhh, just like those old days during the revolution. Me and my Shinsengumi Homies will be slashing those Isshinshishi basturds...heh, get it? basturd---oh, never mind) except when that freaking Battousai goes in our way. Refer to the Movie Samurai X "Trust and Betrayal" and you'll see what I mean. Kenshin Himura's Hiten Mitsurugi against my Gatotsu. That's why I'm still alive. Oh yeah, speaking of being alive, I need a life too. Jon Marquez - Jul 27 2004 Rating: Wonderful! Kicks arse This is where the story goes from fun and serious to deadly serious. Kicks butt! One of my favorite battles of all time, and the last episode is really loved by girls, since it's romantic. bein a guy i dunno what that means O_o Overall, definately worth seeing! -JM |
