In this tale of a past (or future?) that never was, a combination of old London and the Asakura district in Tokyo exists in the Age of Steam. It is a place where masked dandies, dastardly super villains, and sentient machines stalk the city by night. Are the sharp wits and quick reflexes of a wunderkind detective Narutaki and pretty nurse Ling Ling enough to thwart evil and unravel the mysteries of this strange world?

Narutaki's only allies are Kawakubo, his butler; Ling Ling, a beautiful nurse; and Goriki, Ling Ling's steam-powered robot. And when Narutaki finds himself putted against nefarious villain Phantom Knight, cunning thief Red Scorpion, and brilliant-but-insane scientist Dr. Guilty, Narutaki will need all the help he can get!
