awesome movie about gaming and family
i bought this movie at the funimation table at katsucon. it just came out and got a cool t-shirt to go with it. i finally watched it after letting it sit on my table for about a month. production quality as if your watching Ghost in the shell anime. let me tell you ,wow what a great movie. There is not a lot of anime movies that has a strong family bond as what i saw in this movie. Its a must see and if u pass this u are missing out on a great movie.

Probably the BEST family-oriented anime film ever.

Eye-popping mind-blowing amazing animation, this movie really blew my mind the first time I watched it.

Totally worth buying.

What if a global social networking site was hacked?
This anime explores the worst possible scenario. Kenji is your average high school student except for an unusual gift with numbers. He and millions of other users are drawn into a world wide crisis when their accounts are hacked. As a background story, a white lie gets out of hand and Kenji ends up visiting classmate's family--a rather LARGE family. Believe it or not, this anime gives you the experience living with them. You get to know them and become emotionally attached. It's the sense of family and community which determines the outcome of this story.

Summer Wars moves at a good pace, keeps you fascinated, and wanting more. My wife actually clapped at a scene when the good guys fought back. I've never seen her animate like that before. Summer Wars is heartwarming and I give it a 10/10.

one of the best animated films
ok, I'll start off by saying if you've seen Digimon the movie you will notice the plot is basically the same as the middle story in that movie (aka only real good part of that movie). They are not ripping it off its just the director of the middle story from digimon is the same director of this film. He just really liked the idea of that story and wasn't able to give it proper justice in that film because he had to make it a short film which I think was like 30 minutes long and base every thing off of digimon. This film is a more detailed version of that with computer avatars online instead of digimon. This film is amazing from the plot down to the art style. You fall in love with the charactors, get intertained by the children and feel sad for the charctors. This director knows how to move the flow properly in a movie and gets you caught up in this world. This film is a must see film just don't be little it because he reused a plot from one of his older film that he wanted to improve on.
