Well-Done
While I can't read Japanese this would seem to be a faithful translation of the original with very few flaws. There's no censoring of the art either. The manga explores the backgrounds of the characters so it might be a better idea to check out the manga first before watching the anime, where you're expected to already know the characters. Great release!

I loved it
This is one of the best mangas I have ever seen, at first I wasn't sure I'd like it but after reading it, I loved it, I can't wait to see what happens in vol. 2.

Awesome; MUCH better than the anime!
I could compliment this manga all day and still not be through by sunset. It's sexy; the book features the same girls with bizarrely-huge bosoms that made the anime so (in)famous. It's hilarious; I laughed from the beginning of this volume to the end. It's sweet; not only because of the well-done romance between Densuke and Chiharu, but also because of the sense of friendship between the Eiken Club members.

It also presents a HUGE improvement over the anime. The characters here are... well... characters, not breasts with a person attached to them. You get to see a side to everyone totally absent in the show (especially Chiharu and Kirika). And did I mention that it's funnier? It is. Anyhoo...

The bottom line is that the "Eiken" manga rocks out friggin' loud. I'm buying the next two volumes as soon as I get the money. 'Nuff said. This is Jack Sprat, signing off!
