Another Parody of Toei's Tokusatsu Shows
If parodies of projects ranging from Toei's Super Sentai series to Masked Rider and everything in-between are your thing, then by all means, buy this product.

A short and pointlessly woderful way to waste about an hour!
Ever seen Power Rangers? Take all those coments/questions you ever had about them, you know, the "are they dancing or fighting?" "why are they all color coordinated?" "who came up with all these horrible attack names?" type things and now warp them all into funky and stupid, but funny anime version of that! That's Shinesmen!

If you liked Elf Princess Rane and Dragon Half then watch this. If your cup of tea is something along the lines of Evangelion, Lain, Darkside Blues then say away from this like a plague!! It's a funny one shot wonder not a earth shattering emotion filled flick!

It contains lines such as: "There's a big, giant fish right in my face" "Must.. not.. die! Have a date.. with Swedish Twins! Gah!!!" "Oh my gosh! I'm gonna die naked in a Godzilla costume!!!"

If you ever wanted to laugh at power rangers
This was incredibly funny, it's such a shame it's only 2 episodes, I want more!

Not amazing, but fun
"Shinesman" is a fun little title. While not groundbreaking in any sense of the word, it is worth watching. More than anything, it's a great spoof off of "Masked Rider", "Power Rangers", and similiar shows. It has the goofy-looking monsters, ditzy villians controlling them, a team of goobers in multi-colored suits, the sickeningly "sweet n' perfect" little brother tagging along, etc.

The voice actors do a good job, especially the Gray Shinesman and the female villain. Finally, "Dragon Ball Z" fans will definitely recognize the guy singing the theme song (if they've seen the sub of DBZ, at least). Overall, it's worth getting on special, and maybe at regular price if you were ever / still are a fan of "Power Ranger"-like shows.

This is another story that leaves you hanging!
My greatest peeve is that whoever writes this stuff comes up with a tollarable story line and they slap togather a quickie production that leaves the characters with unresolved issues and then move on to the next project leaving the story line unresolved, of the five or six I have run across three are from Media Blasters Unfortunately I am not the only one who feels this way. I know several people who wont buy anime unless they know there is a conclusion to the story.
