A sensitive, blue collar sad sack hopped up on conspiracy theories and sci-fi is convinced that aliens have infiltrated human society and are planning to destroy the planet at the next lunar eclipse. A geek is transferred to a new high school, where he reunites with an old friend who advises him to pick a fight on his first day so that kids will respect him. When the geek sees some bullies picking on a girl he likes, he seizes his opportunity, and picks a fight... unfortunately with the toughest thug on campus. After school, the geek and the deadly thug will throw fists unless the geek can figure a way out of it.

Na-mi is a typical middle-class housewife with a teenage daughter and an ungrateful husband. While visiting her mother in the hospital, she is reunited with her high school friend Chun-hwa. The two happily reminisce about the good old days, when Na-mi was welcomed in Chun-hwa's clique when she transferred schools. The clique was called "Sunny," comprising of seven girls who always hung out together. Chun-hwa is now terminally ill and asks Na-mi to bring the old group together one last time. Hence the housewife's journey and trouble to track down her high school classmates!
