suki yuki - Jul 4 2004 Rating: Not all that good. kind of stupid i bought this on a whim because i've heard it being compared as a cross between you're under arrest and excel saga, two of my favorites. sadly, it just didn't compare and it's hard to see where the comparisons lies. i've never stopped watching any anime in the middle of the dvd before no matter how awful it is but i only managed to watch the first two episodes. it'll probably get better as the series goes on as it's hard to see how it could possibly get any worse. a message to an entertainment, there are better animes out there. go after those titles. I am surprised that the person above me even liked Excel Saga after reading those comments. Yes, this show is very stupid - VERY STUPID, but that is it's appeal. It's parody anime for crying out loud, it's SUPPOSED to be stupid. The first episode involves a summary of previous episodes; how can you not laugh at that? This show is right up there with Excel Saga, and funnier than You're Under Arrest; it's a no-brainer if you liked either show. |
