Smurfy Pants - Oct 13 2002 Rating: Wonderful! lPowerful! This was definitely one of the most powerful and emotionally impacting movies I have ever seen! I can't watch it very often for that reason, but I love it. I watched it with my whole family, and when it was over everyone was bawling- including my parents! For best results, don't miss the very beginning, or the end won't mean as much! Jon Maynard - Dec 31 2002 Rating: Pretty good! An emotional documentary, rivaling most non animated movies today. A documentary done in animation instead of normal movie footage, interestingly done. The movie was great to watch, a unique detachment because it was animae. The story is about a boy and his sister,during WWII, having to survive on the streets of Japan after inciderary bombs burn their city. A great war story plot about the atrocities of war and the people caught in the aftermath. Not a movie to be seen often, but a definate keeper in anyones collection. |
