Now that Megan has merged with the goddess, Laahli, the Muse to the Muse, Megan discovers that she can teleport to any place within Merridiah she desires, and she and Adrien have spent many months alone together exactly where she wants, thousands of miles away from Merridiah University in an abandoned castle keep that was once the home of giants. Yet the many creatures of Merridiah are terrified at the idea of Megan's divine union with Laahli, and thus after a meeting of Merridiah's leaders, Damien hatches a plan to imprison Megan within University grounds...
