Peel back the layers of time and witness the early life of the proprietress of the Antique Gift Shop. Even at a relatively young age, Bun-Nyuh already had a history full of woe. Her mother was poorly suited to be a parent, and so the child was raised by her grandmother. At a crucial moment, Granny became locked in a game of Go-Stop with the Green Rupert that forced the old lady to make some tough decisions regarding her daughter and Bun-Nyuh, setting the course of her granddaughter's life.
Meanwhile, back in the present, in addition to dealing with the day-to-day activities of the gift shop and her odd employees, Bun-Nyuh has fallen in love. Is the young doctor who has swept her off her feet too good to be true? The lingering memories of the doc's missing wife emerge through a pair of glasses found at the shop.
