As a boy, Argentum was a poison tester for a royal family. Later, he developed an immunity to toxic substances and became a master chemist with the ability to cure any illness. Returning after a long absence, he is assigned to be Princess Primula's bodyguard. But any potential relationship will have its limits, as Argentum's very touch has itself become poisonous.

Argent and Princess Primula have both experienced tears through the poisoning of the heart as well as the body. Now the shadows of the past come back to haunt Argent. The mysterious assassin Corda arrives to take care of a deadly mission - but who is her target, and will she fulfill her assignment?

Lulu tells Argent of a possible cure to a Basilisk's poisonous condition - but there's a catch and it might not work for him. She then enlists Argent on a dangerous mission to invade the headquarters of Zetton, the tyrannical union leader who rules the economy!
