ARE YOU SURE THIS BOOK IS UNCUT?
A - YES, MY FELLOW OTAKUS, I have this graphic novel and Masamune Shirow-san did edited the english version of this book because of American censorship! Several pages were edited out because of the content that was shown. I had to get the Japanese version that had the pages in it and believe me, it was expensive, but worth every penny!
Now, on to the review; this book is a collection of comic books that master storyteller Masamune Shirow did as a project in computer graphic imagine, (CGI). The art is first rate and the story is also first rate.
The story is about the one day life of Motoko Kusanagi as a hyper-cyborg security agent. This story adds to a continuance of the saga that began long ago. The T.V. series is the first set in which our female hero is in.
Then comes the first movie entitled "Ghost in the Shell", also the manga, which I might add was edited by him for the censors. Here Motoko "Major" Kusanagi faces the "Puppetmaster". "Ghost in the Shell 2: Inocence" is the next installment of the saga. Then the manga entitle, "Man-machine Interface" was done. Not a bad series of stories.
