 The cataclysmic effects of the Day of Mass Insanity will affect the citizens of the capital until they die. Families were torn asunder and friendships were destroyed, but for Hitaka it was a rebirth. He
regained the use of his sword Himuka, and had his arm restored to normal, but for everyone else it's become a memory of fear and a reason to trust no one.
Meanwhile, in the chaos, Coach Narugami had escaped from the Invader Amano after having been shot and is resolved to fight off the invaders - even if it means joining up with detectives Togashi and Sakura. The invaders are regrouping and plan to fight steel with steel. They've discovered how to forge a weapon just like Himuka and are coming to eliminate Hitaka and everyone else who stands in their way.
