Yakumo was a regular guy who went to high school, but all that changes when he nearly runs down a strange innoncent looking girl named Pai. But appearances can be deceiving. Pai is really the last of the great immortal Sanjiyans and she's been seeking Yakumo!

Yakumo was an ordinary high-school student in Tokyo when he met an immortal girl named Pai, whose quest for humanity led them on a great adventure that has become a modern legend! Yakumo returns to Japan believing that he can resume his old life as a high-school student, ignoring Pai's warning that to do so will subject everyone he knows to the evils of hell itself!

Pai and Yakumo discover the existence of a statue that may help end their quest, but to obtain it they'll have to take on the dwellers in the dark, who need the statue to revive a dread demonic lord and bring about an inhuman kingdom of immortal evil!
