HORRIBLE!
THIS MOVIE WAS VERY DISSAPPOINTING. THE DUBBED VOICE FOR SAKURA IS OUTSANDINGLY HORRIBLE! I WOULDN'T EVEN RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE FOR CHILDREN. THE PLOT DRAGS ON AND ON, AND THE CONCEPT IS REPETITIOUS. I BOUGHT MINE FOR $30 AT THE MALL AND I MUST SAY THAT IT WAS A TERRIBLE WASTE OF BOTH TIME AND MONEY!

A nice closing to the Cardcaptor Sakura season
I felt that this movie was tremendous. The ending of the Cardcaptor Sakura series was left very vague; without a true ending. This movie fills in all the gaps left by the anime. I really recommend this movie is you are a CLAMP or CCS fan. But I would not recommend buying the dubbed virison the voices don't even come close to the Japanese virsion.

An exceptional review, in honor of a very special film.
Normally, I don't make reviews of films from DVD'S & VHS'S until after I get them from Right Stuf, but in this case, I'm tempted to make an exception just this once! See, I got this special edition dvd of Cardcaptor Sakura from Best Buy yesterday which took all my money to get and when I watched it, I knew for sure, that this film is TRULY THE BOMB!!!!!!!!! THE DUBBED VERSION OF THE FILM WAS COOL, THE ACTION SCENES WERE AWESOME & THE WHOLE PLOT WAS OFF THE CHARTS! Basically, because of the fact that I like anime that posesses the strenth & power of love in it's truest actions though heroes and it help overcome all dangers and obsticles. the only problems I had with this are 2 things: one thing: is the ending. the scenes seems to end with Sakura jumping to Shaoran, but it never shows them hugging each other & kissing each other. I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe, if the creator of the movie were to add that to the ending, it would really be a movie to look at! and the other thing: I can't seem to find the Kero-chan video extra! no matter how hard I try, it seems that I can't find it anywhere. like it's hidden away for a reason of something. Oh, well. all and all this film is truly the bomb and I can't wait till I get the normal edition, this time, from YOUR site Right Stuf!

A fitting end...
If you've made it through the entire CCS series, here is your reward: an adorable and fitting end to a great show. It's amazing how many different ways they can come up with to interrupt someone's confessions...

There is one stipulation to my 'Wonderful' rating, though: DO NOT WATCH THE DUB!!! It may be done by a different company, but that doesn't mean it's better. The only person in the movie who got a semi-decent voice was Eriol (he makes a token appearance). Oh yeah, and Kero-chan no longer sounds like a stoned surfer, and they've finally started pronouncing hte names right! But I would recommend that you watch the original Japanese version with subtitles if you want to get the full effect of the movie.

Simply amazing!
A truly beautiful way of "closing the curtain" on an anime. The second movie extremely focused on the relationship between Sakura and Syaoran, as well as the main problem at hand (though that sort of takes a back seat). Most of the original voice actors return to reprise their respective roles, though some characters are missing out on the action. The english VAs isn't as horrific as the "Cardcaptors" cast...although they still are pretty ugly. What's even better is the "Leave it to Kero!" special, which I thought was absolutely hilarious! I definately recommend it to all CCS fans, and to those who simply love the cute romance genre! This is truly an amazing end.

Thank God for this movie!
All I can say initially is THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS MOVIE!!!

Dubs are evil. Watch this subtitled or you'll suffer the memory for the rest of your days of just how bad English voice actors can be.

Now on to more important things . . .

The end of the CCS TV series was obviously unfinished, and it wasn't even all that good. The anime wasn't as powerful as the manga, and it dropped a few of the more serious storylines (which I will not reveal for anyone who hasn't read it - don't wanna spoil anything), and focused more on the romantic angle, especially SakuraxShaoran.

This movie was like a punch to the gut. You get another Clow - now Sakura - Card mystery intertwined with the resolution of the romantic angle, as well as day-to-day life stuff, like gettin' ready for the Tomoeda town fair. BTW, I adored the play Sakura's class put on, and, as always, the costumes were to die for.

The separate plots are all well-done and well-meshed, nothing feels rushed or unresolved, though if you're not paying close attention at the end of the movie - say the last 5 to 10 minutes - you might not immediately understand exactly how Sakura resolved things. I know I had to watch it again before I was all "OH! I get it now!"

But maybe that was just because I was too caught up in the emotional side of things to get much beyond the fact that she did it.

The animation was beautiful, the fight scenes were fantastic, we get appearances (limited though they are) by Eriol and Mizuki-sensei, and the music is sensational! As climatic series endings go, CCS is a bang-up one that I strongly insist you don't pass by. This movie more than makes up for the lukewarm TV series ending, as I believe was originally intended by the animators.

I reiterate - WATCH THIS SUBTITLED!!!

Thank you.
