Mild mannered student Takashi Koyaman finds himself enrolled at Cromartie High, where everybody is a delinquent! Logically, therefore, he must be the toughest in his class - by the rather twisted logic that only a really tough rabbit would lie down with lions. Thus begins a story that parodies every cliche of tough-guy anime that you've ever heard of... and some you haven't!

What are the idiot delinquents of Cromartie to do? Their robot classmate Mechazawa is feeling blue. Seems his little brother keeps getting stepped on, which isn't surprising since he's the size of a tea canister.

It's not easy being a delinquent, especially if you're trying to survive the tough streets around Cromartie. There are chat room bullies with no manners, aliens abducting your friends, vicious biker gangs, and the Boss Championship: a famous cutthroat competition to determine who's the biggest badass around. Of course, when Kamiyama's running it, it's more like a game show where you have to wear a stupid hat... But it seems the biggest danger is... love!

Time for the graduate volume of Cromartie High School! This time, your finals include everyone's favorite subject, Co-Ed - visit the girls' school of delinquents where the young ladies look strangely... familiar. And, frankly, very unattractive.

Poor Kamiyama! Somehow, he has been enrolled in Cromartie High School, the infamous school for delinquents. When your classmates are the meanest, toughest (and often dumbest) students around, you do what you can to fit in. But when you add a 400-pound gorilla, a robot with an attitude, and a macho brute that bears a striking resemblance to a world famous celebrity, it makes blending much more difficult.

Teen life is tough, and high school life is even tougher. But if you're one of the delinquents sent to Cromartie, it's... Well, put it this way: it ain't The O.C. So pack your bags, put on your best tough-guy swagger, and get a lesson in insanity from the losers, bruisers, and thugs at Cromartie High.

Takashi Kamiyama, normal high school student - completely normal, really - makes the not normal (unnormal?) decision to attend Cromartie High. It's known for having more violent thugs, prehensile mohawks, alien landings, and enrolled gorillas than any other Japanese high school.
