Mild mannered student Takashi Koyaman finds himself enrolled at Cromartie High, where everybody is a delinquent! Logically, therefore, he must be the toughest in his class - by the rather twisted logic that only a really tough rabbit would lie down with lions. Thus begins a story that parodies every cliche of tough-guy anime that you've ever heard of... and some you haven't!

What are the idiot delinquents of Cromartie to do? Their robot classmate Mechazawa is feeling blue. Seems his little brother keeps getting stepped on, which isn't surprising since he's the size of a tea canister.

It's not easy being a delinquent, especially if you're trying to survive the tough streets around Cromartie. There are chat room bullies with no manners, aliens abducting your friends, vicious biker gangs, and the Boss Championship: a famous cutthroat competition to determine who's the biggest badass around. Of course, when Kamiyama's running it, it's more like a game show where you have to wear a stupid hat... But it seems the biggest danger is... love!

Poor Kamiyama! Somehow, he has been enrolled in Cromartie High School, the infamous school for delinquents. When your classmates are the meanest, toughest (and often dumbest) students around, you do what you can to fit in. But when you add a 400-pound gorilla, a robot with an attitude, and a macho brute that bears a striking resemblance to a world famous celebrity, it makes blending much more difficult.

Teen life is tough, and high school life is even tougher. But if you're one of the delinquents sent to Cromartie, it's... Well, put it this way: it ain't The O.C. So pack your bags, put on your best tough-guy swagger, and get a lesson in insanity from the losers, bruisers, and thugs at Cromartie High.

Takashi Kamiyama is an average student who made the decision to attend a not-so-average school. Cromartie High is home to thugs and bullies, the undereducated and underachieving... and of course, a foul-mouthed robot suffering from denial!

Hayashida awakens in the Empire of the Apes and learns that he's the savior prophesied in the Ancient Text. To achieve his destiny, he must venture to Mount Poplokis to retrieve the sacred Sword of Lightning. Then he must use it to defeat he sworn enemy, the dreaded That Guy.

Summer has descended upon Cromartie High, and the students are lining up to take off their clothes... to join the school sumo club. Masked Takenouchi becomes the club's rising star, and the Four Great Ones (all five of them!) find themselves impromptu goodwill ambassadors, explaining the finer points of loincloths to a series of foreign guests. You know you're curious.

When a school trip goes awry, Takenouchi is there to save the day, but his hostage negotiations land him in America! Meanwhile, a masked hijacker is parading around school as Takenouchi, preparing for the All-Japan Kingpin Tournament. Kamiyama will prove to be his stiffest competition, but the only boy with brains might get sidetracked when Mechazawa falls to pieces!

Freddie gets a job posing as Pootan, a popular television comedian. But when this part-time gig ends up costing the real Pootan his own TV show, the disgruntled celebrity shows up at Cromartie determined to set things straight. Unfortunately, with all of Cromartie going gaga over a pair of antennas and Freddie already having made his share of new enemies, Pootan may have bitten off more than he can chew!
