Based on a family that dwells perilously close to a swamp comprised of toxic waste, The Oblongs follows their daily lives in half-hour episodes. Each member of the family is deformed in some unusual way - a consequence of their close proximity to the swamp - but they all stick together and remain a close, loving unit. So while dad, Bob Oblong, may not posses any limbs, and his conjoined twin sons, Biff and Chip, may have three legs, it doesn't stop them from enjoying life alongside the similarly deformed residents of their community.
