Who ended up in a story about Suzuka a legendary bird. It's a very interesting story. It contains puppy-love to true love, betrayal, death, and of course reunion. There are probably some people out there who, hearing all the hype created about this series, thought it must have some similarities to Sailor Moon or something, but it doesn't. In fact, that's a really disgusting thought. (Sorry any SM fans) This series has it all, the best of it all. It has Ranma 1/2's complicated love triangles (yes, involving a cross-dresser), and Lodoss's great fantasy elements (unfortunately without any elfs or yousei, but that's OK)combined with the most colorful characters in any anime I know! You'll have favorites, sure, but ALL the characters in the Universe of the Four Gods are interesting. Lindsey Switzer - Jul 27 2004 Rating: Wonderful! Mucho kawaii! I'd heard a lot about this one, and when I finally got it, I was ecstatic. As I found out, the reputation was well-founded. I was into this from episode one. The characters are introduced slowly, and you get to know each one of them pretty well by the end; the development of the characters is fantastic. There's humor (Tasuki and Kouji doing their little dance, and just about any scene with Chichiri in it ^_^), there's romance (forget love triangles, this has gotta be, like, an octagon or something!), and a good dose of drama. Think it's safe to say that everyone enjoyed it. The details, character development, and story are all excellent. I believe Fush found the difficult balance of action, comedy, and romance. Alright, I do have to admit I've had this series for a while now. I actually got into it about 6 years ago. And ever since I've seen excellent anime series out there, but nothing compares to this one. This has it all: action, romance, adventure, mystery, twists, humor/comedy, great character compatibility. Whatever you're looking for it should be covered in this whole series. The only thing that I just didn't really like was the fact that they totally didn't show a few things towards the end with Tamahome and Miaka. and then of course the last dvd comes out with the whole thing starting from a different point in their lives.....but nonetheless, this series will keep you on the edge of your seats! I guess so, but the only way to find out is to whatch Fushigi Yugi!
