The collection is great for those that just want a cheap box collection there are no dvd casses for each volume just 6 dvds from the 3 volumes. the collection is great to rewatch the series. Just had problems watching the 3rd disc on my computer so that problem was my own problem otherwise great for the price

Please make another series to this. I must know what happens to Jim and Aisha.

Great action/comedy adventure
If you haven't seen this yet then you are in for a treat. This has been around for awhile and still going strong in sales. This is in the top 20 of Japanese Anime series in my list and one I always recommend to people who are just getting into Anime. Lots of action, women, spaceships, and major attitude - Pirates in outerspace - what more could you ask for ??

I was surprised when I traded in some points I had earned to get this I was expecting a very low quality work but found a very good plot and storyline. I you like space travel and gun fights you will love this.

Very good sci-fi fantasy series.
I remember seeing this years ago on Toonami-one episode that wasn't shown due to nudity, etc. was "Planet Tenrei Hot Springs" which is just about the funniest episode of any series in recent memory. The rest of the series has it's funny moments but gets dark and serious in the later part. Gene Starwind and company make for a very entertaining watch. Recommend.

Rating: This sucked!
Warning: Not remastered
Don't buy this boxset. It is not a remastered edition of Outlaw Star, like the one released in Japan. It looks like... really, really terrible, compared to the japanese Remastered version. I am really disappointed by this.
The series itself is of course fantastic. But the vastly inferior video quality makes this release worthless.
