The main character is definitely not afraid to use his gun against other s like Vash was and the action scenes are pretty nice. Over all i was pretty impressed and i highly recommend this title, especially if you enjoyed the art style of Trigun but wanted a more mature or dark story to have gone with it because this movie can get very bloody. The dubbing surprised me, as I usually don't like dubs, but I feel so far that a good job has been done here. Everyone, just stick around until at least episode 7, when things start getting really intense. Episode 14 and 24 are the best, IMO. Handel S. Haven't seen the whole story like those above me I like this show, and I will continue to watch it, but I will definitely have to see more before i give it a better rating than Trigun. Even if Grave (Brandon) is less afraid to shoot, Vash had his valid reasons, and I have not seen Grave kill a real person as yet (monsters don't count - hahaha). But if you liked Trigun and are not afraid to give a chance to an anime with somewhat of a slow start, pick this up. If anything, it has a very interesting backstory about how a person can change due to uncontrollable events (poor Harry). Ebony N. Colvin - Apr 16 2005 aol@.ExcelSaga23.com Rating: Wonderful! The Godfather Meets Anime :) I think Gungrave is one of the best Animes I have seen this year. I have not yet complete the entire series but so far i think it is the Godfather Meets anime. I am very suprise at how the story flows and how at some points I even cried. (poor Brandon).After watching the first few episodes I have to say I went back and watch the Godfather 1,2, and 3 and for some odd reason i was waiting for Brandon and Harry to pop up. ( "LOL" :)!!). But overall if your in to "Mafia Type Movies" I recomend this to anyone . A very good series so far. |
