Robot Arale's curiosity, naivete and inhuman strength continue to vex her adversaries. When an alien arrives on Earth in hope of becoming a superhero to the weakling humans, Arale absentmindedly outshines him in all of his attempts at one-upmanship.

Later, a bank robber tries to kidnap Arale and Gacchan, a baby hatched from an egg she and Senbei brought back from a trip through time. In a twist, the thief is the one who ends up running to the police when Arale gets trigger-happy and Gacchan, who will eat anything, tries to chomp down his gun.
